For over 170 years, Temple Israel has thrived through its guiding principle to do the greatest good for the greatest number of people, which is why your unique gifts and presence mean so much to the mission of our congregation. With every new member, our family grows richer.

As the largest Reform synagogue in a five-state region, we blend our size with authentic Southern hospitality. Our recently renovated 30-acre campus keeps us grounded. Our Crosstown Concourse satellite space demonstrates our connectivity to the greater community and social action-centered spirit. Even our cemetery—among the oldest in the South—is brimming with life.
