Carpool Cafes

3-4 times a year, our religious school parents get together and enjoy bagels from The Bagel Nook and a visit from a local coffee cart. Come catch up with friends, meet new faces, and enjoy a relaxed morning filled with great food and conversation!

Grade Level Gatherings

Throughout the year, each grade level enjoys a Sunday morning brunch here at the Temple, along with a special Shabbat experience for students in grades K–2, generously sponsored by Cindy and Mark Finestone.

Family Shabbat B’yachad

Three times a year, families come together for a meaningful and engaging 30-minute Shabbat service, designed specially for families. After the service, catered dinner. generously sponsored by Cindy and Mark Finestone.

Festivals

All Festivals are open to the Memphis Jewish Community

• Apples & Honey: Celebration of the Jewish New Year, with a market place full of vendors from the Memphis community, local food trucks, and fun for the whole family 
• Purim: The ultimate carnival every year to celebrate Purim with proceeds benefitting Camp Dream Street and sponsorships from Temple Israel’s Brotherhood and Sisterhood. 
• TIMPO Fest: Enjoy a day outside with special performances from our TIMPO groups, partnerships with the Memphis Jewish community, and local food trucks.

• Sukkot: Family Pizza in the Hut
• Shabbanukah: Shabbat Services and Chanukah Celebrations rolled into one, with special performances from the TIMPO music programs
