Music & T’filah

Our t’filah program is designed to help students develop comfort, confidence, and connection within Jewish prayer.

Beginning in kindergarten, students learn age-appropriate melodies and practices that build progressively, ensuring that by the time they reach grades 3-6, they have built familiarity with central Jewish prayers as they approach B’nai Mitzvah. 

T’filah is organized in developmental groups (JRK-2 & 3-6). Each session begins with intentional centering.  T’filah is supported by clear visual slides and child-friendly siddurim designed especially for our religious school program, echoed teaching, and a blend of core and familiar melodies, including holiday blessings. Our K-2 students also benefit from meaningful mentorship through our 7th-grade “t’filah buddies,” who model participation and help younger students navigate the service. T’filah is led by members of our clergy and music team, ensuring authenticity, guidance, and a sense of sacred presence throughout the experience.
