Kol Shirah

4th-7th Grade
*Must be enrolled in the Wendy and Avron Fogelman Religious School

Kol Shirah is Temple Israel’s musical leadership program, where participants develop skills in leading music, engaging a group, and inspiring community through song. Meeting monthly, members perform at services and Temple events while building teamwork, self-confidence, leadership abilities, and Jewish knowledge. No prior musical experience is needed, and the program serves as a stepping stone for participants interested in becoming songleaders in camps, youth movements, and other community settings, nurturing the next generation of musical leaders.

TI Teen Band

6th-8th Grade
*Must be enrolled in the Wendy and Avron Fogelman Religious School

The TI Teen Band is an auditioned ensemble for students with prior experience on their instrument, capable of learning their music independently so rehearsals can focus on blending and ensemble performance. Meeting twice a month, the band performs at services and Temple events, offering a fun and engaging way to develop teamwork and ensemble skills while connecting their love of music and their instrument to Judaism.
